Business Area assignment to Plant

Dear Experts,

Business Area BS activated,

At present 8 plants are there, each is consider as Business area. Following allocation configuration are completed,

1. Plant à Divisionà Business Area
2. Valuation Area à Divisionà Business Area

Business Area determination rule- 1 (Business area determination from plant/division (T134G))

After maintaining this also, some of materials at the time of GRs/GI, stock entries are posted to Blank Business area,how to rectify this error

Note – Document splitting activated and check screen shots of accounting entry.

Client having financial statement based on Business area,

based on plant assignment only system determining the Business area.

as i already mentioned clearly following allocation configuration are completed

1. Plant à Divisionà Business Area
2. Valuation Area à Divisionà Business Area

is there any other option without substitution to avoid this error in future

Why you want to Use Business Area? why u want assign to Plant? let us know the full details to help and resolve it.

Hi Mubesh,

Did you try with Substitution rule. Write a substitution and try the posting as follows:

Go to GGB1, write below logic for line item.

Prerequisit     BKPF-TCODE = 'MIGO' AND BSEG-BUKRS = 'Comp.code' AND BSEG-WERKS = 'Plant code'

Substitution: BSEG- GSBER = " Business Area"

or you can also use exit by ABAP code for the list of transactions for populating business area at entry level.
