Hello,
Can you please tell me what is the role of SM61 Control Object Description column ? And what happens if for example an application server in SM61 has "Switch Operation Modes" present in the Control Object Description column and one doesn't ?
Thank you.
Regards,
Catalin
Hello,
Thank you for the answers so far. We do not have server groups configured in our system. What I really want to know is, in transaction SM61 (not enter in other menus of this transaction), if for an application server some control objects are defined and for another application servers there are other control objects defined ("Control Object Description" column), will this make any difference in the way jobs are automatically scheduled to run to these application servers ?
For example:
For application server 1 I have this control objects defined:
application server 1 | Job Starter | 0 (No Trace) |
Time-Controlled Scheduler | 0 (No Trace)
Switch Operation Modes | 0 (No Trace)
Event-Controlled Scheduler | 0 (No Trace) |
For application server 2, I have this control objects defined:
application server 2 | Time-Controlled Scheduler | 0 (No Trace) |
Job Starter | 0 (No Trace)
Event-Controlled Scheduler | 0 (No Trace) |
Thank you!
Regards,
Catalin
