Hierarchy in attribute view in HANA studio

i have set the date hierarchy in the Attribute view in HANA but whenevr i try to view in the analysis edition tool it doesnot drill down unlike if i see the same in excel wher i can easily able to drill down the hierachy.

does anyone set the hierarchy and have used it well in the analysis edition.?

You can use the standard Excel pivot table with hierarchies from SAP HANA attribute views using MDX provider. Note: do not use the analysis for office edition.

So if i have to use the Analysis edition tool then i cant , and if i necessarily have to  then i need to define it in calculation view ..i will try to did it in calculation view but i failed.

Analysis for Office can only see hierarchies when MDX is used. Please define this in a calculation view, mark the view as multi-dimensional and you should be fine.
