EH set in EM

Hello All,

               What is the purpose of EH Set in EM . How can i make use of the same in EM Web Interface ?

Hello Shubh,

with EH Sets you can group several EHs to one EH i.e. in the UI it is then displayed for the End User as it would be only one EH. Should be used only if it is not possible to have everything in one EH.

Example is the TRA10 scenario in the EM system.

Technically it is an entry in mapping tables where all EH belonging to one set are stored.

An Event Handler Set can have an own status. All other data is retrieved from the included the EHs.

i.e. Eh Sets don't have own parameters, rule sets etc.

                     Please let me know what is the business case where we can use EH Set. I don't have an information on TRA10 scenario.

Hello Shubh,

in the TRA10 scenario we cover a standard transportation scenario with:

Preliminary leg      ->Truck

Main leg               -> Ship

subsequent leg     ->Truck

For all the three legs a shipment is created. E.g.. we have 3 shipments with one delivery inside and 3 EH afterwards for the deliveries.

Now the user is interested to see the complete transport process in the UI. By creating an EH Set for the 3 EHs you can do this.

In the UI it looks like for the user as it is only one EH but technically you need 3 EH.
