Documents not showing up on iPad

Gurus,

We are on BI4.0 and facing a problem with Webi/Crystal documents in Mobile category not showing up on iPad.

However Dashboard obecjts are showing up on iPad fine.

Please suggest what may be causing this.

HI Gaurav,

Check if the Webi reports are added in Mobile as well as MobileDesigned Category under CMC>Categories

If dashboards are viewable, the connections seems to be fine and working.

As Durga suggested, check rights as well

did you put the webi reports under both categories as mentioned?

also, you are logged in as administraor on ipad?

you checked that the same reports work fine in launchpad?

we have only one categort "Mobile", we are not using "Mobile Designed" category.

and yes, we are logging in as administrator and reports are working fine in launchpad.

HI Gaurav,

Its ok, if you are not using the MobileDesigned category, however for testing, can you please try this and let us know

Create a category MobileDesigned

Put the same report under this category which is available under Mobile

Check the issue

Hi Atul,

We tried that as well, we created category Mobile Designed and moved the report to that category but still it did not work.

HI Gaurav,

i hope you have created a category MobileDesigned and not Mobile Designed.

these has to be case sensitive and one word

As, the same categories have been mentioned under the mobi.properties file.

Create a new connection on the ipad device as well to check once as well.

Hi Gaurav,

list the BO server version that you use. Go to CMC> Settings to get the exact build number

the SAP BI Mobile Version on ipad

IPAD 2?

Was it ever working before?

if yes, do you have screenshots?

Can you run this URL and get the output

http://servername:port/MobileBIService/MessageHandlerServlet?message=GetVersion

The xml output should match the build number under CMC> settings

if that does not, redeploy the MobileBIService war file

Also, attach screenshots of your ipad with no documents seen, version details as mentioned above,

direct connection to server? no firewall or load balancer?

Create a new connection and check the issue again

I hope the User who may be the administrator or a part of administrator has access on Categories. Full control must be good

Hi Gourav,

Check with Admin account so that it can be sure no problem with rights.
