Hi All,
I am trying to configure incident and service desk management on Solution manager 7.1 sp7.
I have created a custom business role copied from SOLMANPRO, assigned it a custom navigation bar. Also I have created a custom transaction copied from SMIN called ZMIN. My question is where can I do the configuration which would assign transaction ZMIN when I create a new incident. Current when I create a new incident, transaction assigned is of type SMDT. Which is not the one I want.How can I achieve what I want.

Hi Ashutosh,
What do you have in Capabilities (Optional)->IT Service Management->Transactions->Specify Several Transaction Types for parameter 'PROCESS_TYPE' and 'PROCESS_TYPE_ADD'? Make sure ZMIN is defined.

have you created the entry in DNo_cust04 as
process_type = ZMIN
also you can use the authorization object

pls note even you create entry in dno_cust04 table still you might get the pop up so better to restrict always on authorization object so that even by mistake no use can post messages of wrong transaction type
