How can I add an incident in ITSM to my watchlist? Do I need to activate some functionality in order to do so? I don't see any buttons or actions in the Web UI to do this.

Thanks, but that is not what I am looking to do. I am looking to add the incident to my watch list so that I can be notified of updates to the message via an action.

Thanks, but my main problem is that I do not have a button or action anywhere on the incident that says "Add to Watchlist". Is there something that I need to enable in order to see this button?

Hi Jon,
First go to the Personalize option on the WEB UI screen and go to Personalize Settings. There under the Tag Clouds and Favorites make sure that you have Enable Favorites checked. Save.
Then from any message, the Favorites icon should be available on the main toolbar. If you click this icon, you will be able to save the message as a favorite and it should show up on your Home page under the Favorites work area.
