Hi all,
We have been using cFolders subscriptions since we went Live over three years ago. However, recently if you subscribe to a collaboration, folder or document you no longer get an email to notify you. Those subscriptions from some time ago will still send email notifications though!
As far as I'm aware this is vanilla. Does anyone know of any reason why this would have stopped working?
Thanks,
Kathy
Thanks everyone for your responses. We've discovered the issue now.
The user was external to our company and so her email had a different domain name. Our email gateway was blocking emails to her that came from other external company domains. So she was only receiving emails from our company domain.

Hi,
sounds really weird. Would recommend to raise an OSS message.

Hi Kathy,
Confirm whether the user who has subscribed to a collaboration / folder / document is receiving other notifications?
If the user is not at all receiving any notifications, then the user has to login and go to settings link in the top-right screen of cFolders. And then go to notifications tab & change the frequency for receiving emails from 'Never' to 'Immediately'.

Ravi

Hi Kathy,
There are only 2 reasons for not receiving the notifications in cFolders.
1) In cfolder user settings, notification receiving frequency field is updated as 'Never'.
2) If email id is not maintained for the user id in SU01.
In your case, both the scenarios are fine. As suggested by Ulf, raise an OSS.
Regards,
Ravi
