Changing "Spinning Wheel"

does anybody know if it is possible to change the "Spinning Wheel"? How can I do that?

Hi Ismail,

The loading image comes from the theme. Changing it requires a change to the relevant PAR file on the portal. These discussions give some details...

But we are not using Portal. Do you think, I can change it creating a Theme with the Netweaver Developer Studio or Eclipse->Theme Editor?

But I couldn't manage to install Eclipse with Theme Editor plugin.

Hi Ismail,

It looks like in the MIME Repository there is a "loading_ani.gif" for each of the standard SAP themes, and this GIF is the "loading animation" image. It does seem to offer the ability to upload a replacement image. The same image exists in each of the SAP delivered themes, in the sap_chrome theme for example...

sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/themes/sap_chrome/common/loading/loading_ani.gif

If that is the WDA spinning wheel, it is part of the UR mimes in the backend and not easily changed.

I don't know, maybe it is. Anyhow, I couldn't find it within a standard theme.

But it should be possible to create an own theme and load it using CSS, or not?
