SAP Authentication Type in SAP BI Mobile

Hi All,

I have to implement SAP BI Mobile solution for my project.

I have installed SAP BI in my mobile and when i am setting up the new connection i don't see :-

Authentication Type as SAP.

Under Authentication Type i can see only below :-

• Enterprise
• LDAP
• Windows AD
• SAP R3

My BO reports are based on BEX query and in BO i am using SAP as authentication for login in launch pad.

Can someone please suggest whether it's possible to get SAP authentication in mobile or not ? I am using Android mobile.

If you have done with SSO then you can use SAP R3 Authentication type ...

Hello Amit,

SAP R3 = SAP.

The only difference with logging through the mobi app is that you will have to use following format as you do not have separate boxes for System and Client as in LaunchPad: SID~CLT/BWUSER
