CCMS alert configuration

Hi,

I have AP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1.  And I have some ABAP systems. I want to set up CCMS alerts for these ABAP systems. I searched a lot, but confused with so many different answers. Can some body please tell me how do i configure CCMS alerts step by step.
