RFC trigger

Hi Group,

I have a requirement when a csv file arrives in the directory, PI will pick up the file,  route to another directory and also trigger a RFCFunction module.

Is there any way we can achieve this wihout Mapping.

Instead of triggering the RFC from PI ...check building the wrapper and scheduling the report for the same...as you cannot invoke the RFC this way from PI...

Hi Rajiv,

As far as i know  you always need to call a RFC at least with one parameter and this implies a mapping.

Could you elaborate a little more your scernario?, has the RFC parameters?, the RFC triggering could before or after the receiver file excecution?, should the RFC read the file?

Thank you for your response.

I am not passing any inputs to this RFC function module, once after File pick up by sender adapter needs to trigger RFC , RFC is not reading file content,
