Promotions based on targets

All,

I have a requirement to cover and I am thinking of possible solutions.

Scenario : A customer has to achieve a target of USD 5000 in sales to be eligible for a promotion.

Once he achieves the target, for all his next orders he gets a discount of say 2%.

Please let me know if you have come across something similar and a way to get around this.

Dear,

If this is for all customers then go by Routine is one way to achieve this.In that routine program ,you need to write when net amount is greater then 5000 usd then discount condition type ( k005 ) should not with amount 0.00 usd
