Automatic fill a field controled by an entry list with the first entry

Hello,

I have a field controled by an entry list.

I would like to automatically fill this field with the first value of this entry list.

In most cases, this entry list contains only one entry and I would like to avoid the user to click on the drop down list and to select the entry.

How could I achieve this ?

Hi Gilles,

If we want for a field in a Form to show the first value like this:

1. First we need to activate the Data Service and save the results in a Data Share element.

2. Open the Define Data dialog for the Form View. For the Field using the Entry List, set the Default Value to be taken from the Data Share:
