RE: GRC CUP5.3 - role assigned to user without role owner approval..missing workflow?

Hello,

We are currently using GRC5.3. I am going through some old SAP access controls requests  and found that for one SAP access request roles got assigned to user with out the role owner approval.

I am trying to find a way how to troubleshoot this issue. Please help or give me ideas on to troubleshoot the issue.

Hello,

My advise would be as follows:

1) How old is the request? if it is very old, I would determine with the help of the involved business users if the request is still valid in the first place? it may be out dated and they probably have access granted to help them do their job.

2) If they do still need the role, update the master data (i.e. get the right role owner assigned etc) and make the request from scratch.

3) Delete/Cancel the "Stale" request.
