Hi,
We have some virtual inventory stuck in 916 interim storage type. This is because more than one TO was created manually for picking the delivery.
The way we are clearing the inventory is to move the 916 inventory to a bin that we called "DELETE" by creating a manual TO with 999 mvt type. After that we carry out the normal steps of phisical inventory LI01n, LI11n and LI20. We dont need to do a LI21 as the stock does not exist in IM.
Once I do the last step LI20, what is happening is that the stock clears out of "DELETE" bin but its getting shifted to 999 storage type and the inventory record # as the bin #. Why does that qty that we clear in LI20 shift to 999? and How can we clear this off?
Thanks
D
All responses are correct
Use LI21 to clear
LI20 clears WM
LI21 clears IM

If you have qty stuck in virtual storage type try to look for any negative qty for the material from LS24 rather than do LI20. And do LT01 to wash out the negative and positive.
Doing LI20 will put stock in 999 as Claudio mentioned and to clear that you'd need to do LI21 which will reconcile the difference between IM and WM. In other words, LI21 will impact IM stock qty.

It is a standard behavior, LI20 put the stock in 999 with the bin equal to the inventory number...
But my question is....how is it possible that you have stock in WM and not in IM???

After LI20, the next step is to use LI21 to clear the difference to IM so that stock in WM and IM is in sync.
