ECATT: Error when executing variants of test configuration

Hi everyone,

I try to start a test configuration through the test workbench.

I always get the error message:

"Variants that Match Selection  ECATTDEFAULT Cannot Be Found".

But when I start the specific test configuration through SECATT it just works fine.

There is some problem with external variants.

I now there is a note called 1243879 that explains the issue, but I you a new Solution Manager 7.1 and and ECC 6.0, so this SNOTE doesn't work for me.

Does anyone has some new insight what's the problem?

Hi Micheal,

For Test Data you have 2 options:

1. Maintain the Test Data in the Test Data Container and assign the Test Data Container to your Test Configuration. Transaction code SECATT--> Create Test Data Container.

2. Maintain the Test Data as variant in an excel and upload the excel. You can download the Variant excel as shown in the Screen shot.
