Hello,

We have installed Content server on seperate Windows 2008 R2 server with MAX DB database following Installation Guide.

And our ECC 6 is on different server.

Now when we try to create repository from ECC system, it doesn't

work.

even the following URL itself don't work.

http://<host>:<port>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

When we try to create Content repository via CSADMIN, it says , 400 bad request.

hello all,

I solved the issue by reinstalling it again.

Now I could successfully call the content server URL and also able to create repositories.

Thanks,

Hi

I have Installed the Content Server using the following DVD's

50118243_2

50118243_3

And 51042263_13 -- Installation Master

I am not able to see any other site apart from Default website of IIS?

Is there any problem in Installting...

If yes, then how to install , I am not able to uninstall using SAPInst

It doesn't show content server.

Jigar

Hi Jagar,

I think it is because of selecting  LABEl.ASC files while duration of installation.

Please check IIS service installation. Everything in the guide .

You can try by creating manually .

1)  click on  sites --> add website --> site name as  SAP_Content_Server and  browse for location of content server.   (  Ref . page num 21 in installation guide what I suggested above)

2)  check all web service by selecting each site for  browsing. it should  ping for file location.

chandu

Hi Chandu,

I added website manually as per your instructions.

What should I put port (1090?) ...

I put the Port as 1090, now http://<host>:1090..opens as follows,

But still If I try to open the Content server URL

http://<host>:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo It doesnt work

And as per the above guide I dont see anything under ISAPI and CGI restrictions Page no 24.

Hi Jagar,

Port number is 1090.

Also create application pool for contentserver by click on sap_content_sever.

Select <hostname> on webservices  and click on Handler mappings --> edit feature permission---> check all. Restart server.

Please copy and paste with your IP in internet explorer.

http:\\servername:1090\ContentServer\ContentServer.dll?serverInfo.

If solve your issues please close this thread with assumed answer .

Hi

1) I checked the IIS service from the Server Manager and its running, even

http://<host>:80 --> displays the IIS 7 page

2) I have provided the full rights to the Content Server folder present under C:/ProgramFiles/SAP

Even

http://<host>:1090 --> dont work "Page cannot be displayed"

Hence I think this URL also dont work

http://<host>:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

Hi Jigar,

Port number for content servre 1090 verify in your content repository id from OAC0.

please follow as per installation guide from page number 19 . https://archiveany.zendesk.com/entries/20189108-SAP-Content-Server-Installation-Instructions-for-Win...

Perform commands after installation  according to above guide and check result I mean like sqlod32.dll  etc... are existed or not.

clearly verify the naming conventions.

chandu.
