Not able to assign privileges to roles which we are loading through IC

Hi All,

We are not able to assign privileges to roles which we loading through IC but if we create roles through IC we are able to assign privileges to it.

we need some more information:

Which version of IdM are you using?

Is there an error in the UI when you try to assign the privileges?

Is there an error in the log?

Hi Steffi,

We are using SAP IDM 7.2 version.

No we are trying to add privileges to roles through IC not UI.

We are not getting any error but not able to assign privileges to roles which we have created through IC.

Hello Nivedita,

Do you mean you want to find a way, that to assign privileges to business role in IDM management console, which also can be done by web task 'Modify Business Role'(from standard framework)?

If yes, please you can choose the relevant privilege in management console, then goto its tab "Role members" and button "Add". Afterwards, you can verify this in role tab "Member privileges".

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
