HCM forms and Process - Pre-requisites

Hi all,

We are in process of implementing adobe forms using HCM forms and process.

Please let us know pre-requisites for implementing HCM Forms & Processes.

We are in ECC 6.0, EHP6.

HCM P&F supports 2 options.

1. WDA based forms which require no Adobe licenses and are based on Webdyn Pro ABAP and FPM.

Skills needed:

SAP HCM,

ABAP,

WDA and FPM,

Workflow

2. Adobe Forms - you will need ADS licenses based on the forms and users.

Skills needed:

SAP HCM,

ABAP,

WDA, Workflow

and Adobe forms.

Hi sahir,

Thanks for info. could you please also let me know the ADLC version needed and business function to be activated for the forms. The last business function i found is HCM_ASR_CI_5.

I worked on forms but on EHP4 system not in EHP6.

You are welcome.

According to my understanding there is no dependency on ADLC version.

With SAP HR Renewal 1.0 you can develop forms based on webdyn pro ABAP - which is a very cost effective alternative for customers. Do think of it as well.

Coming to the switches activate all switches with name HCM_ASR*

Thank you sahir for all the information. Im very much comfortable with adobe forms also know web dynpro abap next stint will be forms with WDA.
