we did system copy from SQL 2000 to 2005 server successfully. system is fully operational without any issues. But when we checked DB tables records, few are unmatching. we compared the tables with DB02 & SE16. Can anybody please advise what could went wrong ?
Hello,
What method are you using to compare the number of entries?
Those are BW tables (/BIC/A...), have you execute any BW clear, compress, load process?

Hello,
The SE16 only shows the number of entries for the client you are currently logged.
e.g.
Your system has 2 different clients: 000 and 100.
Table X has 90 entries for client 000 and 10 entries for client 100.
If you are logged on client 000 and verify the number of entries on SE16 for table X it will show 90.

Eduardo
Hi
1. Could you check the import logs files in C:\ProgramFiles\sapinst_instdir\ any error logs are there for Table?
2. You can also run the DB check to specify table “dbcc checktable “ or SID DB kindly refer the SAP Note 142731 - DBCC checks of SQL server
3. You can compare any report running in old and new system

Could you please list the name of the tables where you see row count difference?
Thanks,
Sunny
