Hana Input Parameter defined in View not Visible in BW Virtual provider once published

Hi all,

We are using BW 7.3 SP 8 and SAP Hana SP 6.

The input parameters defined in the Hana view once published to BW Virtual provider should be available for further filteration in the Bex Query. But I am not able to see this input parameter  in Virtual Provider. All other characteristics and Key figures are visible. The required entry for this input parameter “RSDRV_HANA_INPUTPARAM_ALLOWED”  is already in RSADMIN table of BW 7.3 with value ‘X’.  Can any one help me to resolve this issue ?.

FYI : SAP Notes – 1742176 has be installed also.

Hi Anil,

You need to create Input Parameters as Mandatory then you will see in the VP.

Hi Former Member,

I believe you have not properly mapped the HANA input parameter objects to BW independent info-objects.

Please go through the link suggested by Vivek which shows the step by step procedure.

Still if you face any issue, please let us know.
