How the data is sended in idoc to file scenario?

what is the difference in sending data through BD10, BD14 and WE19 ?

Is the data is sended through XI OR R/3 SYSTEM?

for sending the idoc from r3 to file first u wud req to have port, partner profile, rfc dest etc created. and then u wud req to have the idocs configured incase of custome segements added. in xi part u need to have BS, IR, ID in place and laso have metadata loded into xi (optional). u may refer to the link below:

The data is sending through port , rfc destination, partner profile .

An IDoc is a intermediate container to send data to R3 or from R3. wrt Xi, IDoc sends to IDoc adapter.i mean The connected systems transfer or receive IDocs through their IDoc RFC interface.

WE 19 is the test tool to send IDoc.

all are creates master idocs

Makeing settings in SAP R/3 side then based on the RFC

destination,port,parterner profiles.....

Idoc can hold the data with out any direction but RFC port will direct where to

go ...based on the partner profiles (Out buond IDOCS)

BD10,BD11,BD12,BD13,BD14 will be to send the master data automatically

generally will be in the production(But not for testing) and this will be depending

on the declaration of profiles in the BD64

--- But we19 will be used to test the Idocs with any data

but here we need to give all the parameters like senders,receivers,ls,idoc...

Data will send through XI i.e XI will receive the Idoc and Convert into XI specific

SOAP XML message and process all the pipe line steps ...based on the target

it will send

Here target is file so choose the file adapter as target and give all parameters

it will work fine

hi prasad here my question is

is there any standard programs to send any idoc from sap r/3 to xi.or any transaction codes we use.

that too i want to know particularly is there any prgm to post the orders idoc to xi.

WE19 is a test tool for IDOC processing ie sending IDOCS from SAP system to XI system.For that you will have to create port ,parner profile ,RFC destination parameters etc....in both SAP and XI systems.

it is in sent through TRFC call.Yes data is sent through R/3 to XI.

We19 is testing tool for IDOC.

BD10, BD14 are used to send master data from R/3 to XI .
