Dear Masters i am new to sap

I would like to ask one doubt

i am creating customer master data , i have 270 customers

in xd01 i have used Ref.company code , ref .sales org, ref.customer no,div, distribution

But once completed the process system i want to another customer no

ex: customer no all ready existed 100000

sales org : 20

div:50

distribution :55

company code: 800

company code : 500

so i want to extend this information to other customers so i want another customer

270 customers are there ....

just i have created one customer 100000 in xd01 with details

sales org : 20

div:50

distribution :55

company code: 800

company code : 500

Now information will be copied to other customers it means new customer nors would be generated after finishing xd01

Hi Geetha,

A customer, with a customer number say 'XXXX' can exist only once in your SAP client( table KNA1 is client specific  ).

I am assuming that, you know the internal and external number range concept.

Creating new customers by referencing the old customers can happen in two ways,

1. If your account group has internal number range, the system will assign new number to the new customers.

2. If Your account group has external number range, you can provide different customer number say 'YYYY' and create new customers. Even if you try to create with same customer number 'XXXX' the system will throw an error.

So new customers with existing customer numbers will not be created.

Note :

You can extend the existing customer to new sales area or new company code. So that the same customer can trade in another sales organization and can be billed in another company code.

If you require any example for this, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,

Manoj

Hai Manoj

ok .. suppose just think like this

1) I Have given internal no ranges

2) i am creating customer master date by using reference options ( c.code, div, distribution, sales org ,customer no)

3) i have more than 500 customers are there which are going to use same data of the customer which allready created ( 100000)

....so here my intention is i want that information will be applicable to new customers so new customer nors should come bz customers are different

so as per my knowledge if want to create all data in xd01 for 500 customers it will take some time

so i want differnt nors for customers

Note : here customers are different so thats way i am asking different nors

i know this is possible in XD99 ( But if you want to do that customers allready should be existed )

but in my case not created just going to create

plz any body explain me how it will be
