Hi experts,
I have created an RFC adapter in dev of SAP PI and it was working perfectly. sapgw16 was used as the gateway service as 16 was the system number of ECC system. We moved the configuration to quality. While creating the RFC destination in quality of ECC, the same gateway service(sapgw16) was used by basis team for some reasons though the system number was different.
Now, the configuration is working properly in quality. But the problem is the configuration is not working in dev though we didnt make any changes.
Please help me analyse the issue.
Thanks and Regards
Praveen
Hi Praveen,
Did you check in Dev ECC (T code SMGW) if the service is active.
Please restart the channel once. Ask your Basis team to check the TCP/IP connection if there is no criss-cross of connection. Restart of channel should solve the issue.
Hope it helps!

Thank you guys.
The ECC system was shutdown on weekend. The PI sytem could not reconnect after restart.
Now, the problem is solved by restarting the communication channel.

Hello Praveen,
What is the error that you are getting when you execute the destination in sm59?

Hi Praveen,
as suggested by ambrish please check the service, In addition to that you can also check the abap logs in transaction ST22 in ECC.
