Error while login using Administrator Account on the SLD for EP 7.0

We have a single SLD environment (residing on a WAS specifically for SLD- different physical box). We recently installed EP (nw2004s) and when we go to access the SLD using the URL Server:port/sld from EP we get the following message:

You do not have permission to view the System Landscape Directory. Minimum required: UME role with permission com.sap.lcr.LcrUser and J2EE role LcrUser. See the SLD Post-Installation Guide for details.

SLD not configured; configure the SLD in Administration first.

Normally when you get an error similar to this on the XI, we assign the LCRUSER role to the J2EE_ADMIN user but in this case its EP trying to access the SLD and EP has Administrator user only.

Hi,

This is not EP forum, i hope..

Normally when you get an error similar to this on the XI, we assign the LCRUSER role to the J2EE_ADMIN user but in this case its EP trying to access the SLD and EP has Administrator user only.

Check it once again.

Haibing,

coming to SLD authorization.

you need to login as WAS Admin for this.

goto http://EPserver:port/sld.

you need to activate the SLD so enter the server the details. and save click on start it should register the SLD .
