Hi,
I've got a new sap PI 7.1 system installed by basis and they copped over the pisuper user's profile for me but I can't login to my IB or SLD's admin etc. With the pisuper user I'm able to login just fine. I can get into R/3 and check my own user in SU01 which isn't locked. All the roles are active. j2ee_admin and guest is active and not locked either. I followed some guides to check that I have the correct roles assigned. I've deleted my user a couple of times, reset the password, tried dialog user, service user etc. I just can't figure this out.. Any ideas?
Hi 😃
We sorted the issue. It was related to client 001 not being maintained. My user was created on client 200.
Thanks,
Jan

Hi Jan,
--> Check the SLD connection by using SLDCHECK.
--> Check in SM21,is there any logs in PI system.
Try to create another user id and assign the roles that you required and try to login with that user id.
you checked in SU01 R/3 not in PI, so login to your PI system and go to SU01 and check there if it is locked or not.
I've deleted my user a couple of times, reset the password, tried dialog user, service user etc.
Where did you tried the above in R/3 or in PI?
Refer the SAP Note 721548.

Could it possibly be a cache issue where the java stack is not informed of the new user?
Hi Jan,
Please check the below link. Might be helpful.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I had a look at the links but I'm still facing the login issue. This is not related to a client side issue as I am able to login with my pisuper user. Only for newly created users I cannot seem login with them even if it's a copy of pisuper with all it's roles and profiles. I even did a system restart after creating and activating a new user with all the roles just to check that it's not a cache issue. I can try from any computer/system on the network it gives me the same issue so this must be in the PI box itself. I'm no basis consultant so I won't know if some config was missed during the installation. Basis is looking at this but they aren't making any more progress than me.
Cheers,
Jan
