PO Print Preview

Hi,

We are using extended classic scenario, when trying to ope Print Preview (PDF form)option in SRM, nothing is displayed.

We are trying to open standared PO output, but nothing is coming, there is no issue with SC output.

The below is the message when we try to ope PO in SRM:

"Adobe Reader could not open. "Purchase Order.pdf" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged(for exmaple, it was sent as an email attachement and wasn't correctly decoded"

This looks to be more of file type issue. Check the following setting on browser.

Hi Ankita,

Pls check if you have any special characters(eg. # - _ $ ) in the attachment name ? Pls remove the attachment from the PO and try to see the PO PDF.

Hi Ankita,

• Select the 'Tools' -> 'Internet Options' menu from IE
• 'General' tab, go to the 'Temporary Internet Files' group box and click on 'Delete files' and 'Delete cookies'
• 'General' tab, go to the 'Temporary Internet Files' group box and click on 'Settings'
• Check the 'Automatically' option and click on OK, click on 'Apply' then 'OK' and close IE
• In Acrobat Reader, also check that the "Display PDF in browser" option ('Edit/ Preferences' menu, 'Internet' section) is unchecked.

Hello Ankita,

     Is ADS configured for your system? Have a check from basis guy.If it is not installed ask him to configure first then check again.

For ADS(Adobe Document Service) try to execute the report FP_PDF_TEST_00 , to test the connection to ADS.If this test is successful, run report FP_TEST_00. Select a printer and select the option for the print preview.

We have two different clients for one client we are able to get the print preview but for the other we are not able to get the print preview.

Hi Ankita,

   I have faced this issue but I created a custom button for PDF and this problem was solved by providing the output parameter while calling my function.Also try to debug whether your output format is getting your pdf file or not.
