Different Priorities for Different Transaction Types

Hi Experts.

I need to create a new Incident transaction type (similar to ZMIN) but with a different set up in Priority.

Example:

ZMIN	High
	Medium
	Low
ZMI1	Very High
	High
	Medium
	Low

Please help.

hi,

You can create as many as ZMIN with the copy of SMIN and proceed the same configuration, just make sure you added all your Z profiles into DNO_CUST04 with the parameter PROCESS_TYPE_ADD.

Rest all the configuration is very same, just follow the ITSM configuration guide from SMP.

Thank you for your reply, Jansi. However, what we need is to know how we can have a different set of priorities for the new incident transaction type.

Example: Right now, we have 1 incident transaction type (ZMIN). The PRIORITIES was maintained with 3 level namely: High, Medium and low. Our new Incident transaction type should have 4 levels in Priority namely: Very High, High, Medium and Low.

Hi Sherwin,

Goto osc3 and add the new priority, but it will show common for all the transcation type.

its not recommended to modify priorities in SAP Solution Manager as SAP only support these 4 priorities
