sap router problem on sap solman

Hi

we want to configure sap router for my solman system i got the bellow error, it was asking pin number , any one  one please tell me what pin number i want to in give ..

get_pse: Malformed distinguished name "CN=veer,OU=00000000,OU=SAPROUTER.C

=DE"

ERROR in Name2DName: (12321/0x3021) problem parsing DName : "unescaped special c

haracter"

any one please tell me how to trouble shoot the issue

Hello,

When you generate PSE using sapgenpse tool then it asks for PIN to secure PSE file (For first time, you can enter any PIN). So, if you are using old PSE file and you have set PIN on this PSE previously then you need to provide old PIN.

If you are generating new PSE and you don't want PIN then you can press enter 2 times but then your PSE will not be secured as anyone can use it.

Where do you see this .

Are you trying to generate the certificate request using the below command

sapgenpse get_pse -v -r certreq -p local.pse

"CN=veer, OU=00000000, OU=SAPROUTER, O=SAP,C=DE"

I think you are using the wrong CN name. Pin can be any 4 no. like 1234.

get_pse: Malformed distinguished name "CN=veer,OU=00000000,OU=SAPROUTER.C
=DE"
