SDM Agent is not able to connect to Satellite System

Hello Experts, my basis team is having an issue when setting up a Portal system in the managed system configuration, we already checked the J2EE_ADMIN and SMD_ADMIN users,  they both have the right roles, and the DA is running.

Any help about this issue, will be appreciate.

Hi Paul,

Please check the auth for the user maintained in system parameters has enough auth, also the user you using for solman_Setup has enough auth and also check the smd_Admin user which used for register your smd to solman has the enough auth.

May be helpful.

"The issue is related to authentication connecting to the sapstartsrv for the JC10 instance.

For the mean time, it has been resolved by removing the parameter "service/protectedwebmethods" from the default profile of the JC10 instance.  However I note that according to OSS note 1439348 the recommended value for this is SDEFAULT (which is what it was previously)."

After updating the Kernel in our Portal system, we changed the parameter and now everything is ok, thanks to everybody for the answers

Hi Paul,

Uninstall agent and then reinstall latest agent version, remember to register agent when sapinst asks for it.

Plese check note 1839894 - Diagnostics Agent log shows "Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized"
