schedule a /sdf/mon job periodically

Dear experts,

I was able to schedule a new monitoring in SA38> /SDF/MON> schedule new monitoring. Is it possible to have this job run periodically. Please suggest what need to be done to have this run everyday.

Here is what I did

I am in SE38 and then entered /SDF/MON_START. I don't see a save option. How do I create the variant? Please suggest.

Usually I would go to SE38 , program name: /SDF/MON, then select variant option > then change .

Then on the new screen, i select Create button to have the variant created, in which time frame analysis, i have start time and end time as current date and then i saved it.

Are there any other steps which I need to do additionally.

To create a variant:

Tx SE38 - /SDF/MON_START - Goto - Variants

Create a vraiant here.

Tx SE38 - /SDF/MON_START

Program - Execute - Background

Select the Variant name

Schedule - Schedule periodically

Hi,

Go in SE38 give program name /SDF/MON_START now click on the save and try to create a variant.

Just go to sm36 and create periodic jobs.

Give the below program and the variant  name .

Program name :/SDF/MON_START

variant :Give the name of the variant that you created earlier.
