New system build using exiting system online backup

Hello All,

Source system details:

OS is Windows , DB is oracle ,SAP Version : ECC 6.0 .

We have taken Online + redo log backup of Source system

New system has to build from Source system backup .

Is it possible ? can i get steps  pls ?

Hello All,

Forgot to mentioned source system details.

oracle directory and usr are located in D drive .

D:\oracle\ECC\mirrlogA ...

..

...

..

D:\oracle\ECC\saptrace

usr directory also located in D drive.

1, Please advise same source system installation drives  for oracle and sap are same in the target system version as well as java  version? .

2,We don have export dumps for ECC 6.0 , can we download and use ecc SR3 export from service.sap.com ?

Hello

Install SAP and Oracle on the new system.

Once the installation is complete restore the database from the backup to the target system.
