Data Import Monitor Task - Corrupt Data Issue

Hi Gurus,

While importing "User account" related csv file (New user setup or change to existing user account) stored locally on server in Upload folder using "Data Import Monitor" task, no change happens in Sourcing application. There are no logs in Background Task Status or Netweaver Administrator Logs, however on server file gets moved to Archived/corrupt_data folder after Data Import Monitor task completes.

I'm using same template which sourcing application provides to upload user account related data. Also I could "manually" Import the same .csv file through "Import Data" interface successfully. So this doesn't seem to be corrupt data in the file, unless format for Manual Data import is different than one required for "Data Import Monitor" task.

System Details - Sourcing 9.0 SP05 On premise

Appreciate any help to resolve the error.

If it works manually the scheduled task should work too... however...

1. Start by trying to deactive the old task and creating a new one

2. If the problem still persists.. enable debug level logging on the NW log configuration and you'll get to see a little bit more detailed log on the NW logs..

Thanks Prasad for the response.

Issue was related to missing data type tag in import file, however it is weird as Sourcing template doesn't include it by default.
