SAP IdM integration with Organizational Management

Hi,

I'm new to SAP IdM and I have two questions.

1 - It is possible to integrate SAP IdM with SAP OM?

  2 - In a landscape with a Identity Center and a SAP ABAP system, if I modify a user record assigning or unassigning a role in the SAP ABAP system, will that change be update the user record in the Identity Center?

For OM what kind of integration are you looking for?

The change should be reflected within IdM, but may vary on when it shows up depending on the frequency of your job(s).  Also to point out, doing it that way would also negate the IdM audit process of who did what for the role.

From the quick research I did on OM, it looks like its a function built into an ABAP stack; and if this is true, I would assume that IdM would pickup the values...perhaps one of the more seasoned members can attest to this, which may take a bit as TechEd is occurring this week.

Egil,

I have never seen this implemented, and when it has been suggested on my IDM projects we have determined that it cannot be done.

I'd suggest logging an OSS note to this effect and checking the SAP IDM idea place.
