How do I approve SAP downloads from workcenter?

Hi experts,    

  I am not familiar with new SM7.1 EHP1. My favorite DSWP is gone. How do I approve software download from service market place?

Change management -> Maintenance Optimizer -> New Maintenace Optimzer?

Hi,

1 : Make sure your SID is maintained against your SAP ID in AISUSER

2 : Make sure you have appropriate authorization in the system

If you are applying a Support pack stack or EHP use MOPZ as defined above.

if you know exactly what you need to download, go to marketplace, add the required patches to your download basket.

then in solution manager, execute transaction se38 and run the program /TMWFLOW/RMOBASKETAPPROVAL. it will give a popup with details of your basket.

APPROVE Away!!!

Hi Himianshu & All,

   This program is really great. Better than the DSWP. In fact, the performance of our SM server is poor and it always took me more than 10 minutes to press 'next', 'next'... to finish maintenance optimizer. With this program, I can just select the programs to approve and finish it in one step. Thank you very much.

Hi ,

Approve the SP  to have an S user with authorization to approve the basket, and a SAP-OSS RFC in good working order

Open the id in the above screen it will open MOPZ and it have a opion to approve the SP .

SE37 -> /TMWFLOW/MO_UI_BASKET_AUTHORIZ -> Process -> SAP-OSS -> Execute
