Alert Rule Definition - Buttons are in inactive Mode.

Hi experts,

      I am facing an issues that, in Alert rule definition "Add Rule, change Rule " are in inactive mode.  Even though i selected Alert Category its still in inactive mode.  Please suggest me.  Thanks for yours inputs.

Hi Senthil,

The user which you are using  for Alert rule definition "Add Rule, change Rule " might not have proper authorizations.

Please check with your SAP Security/Basis team and ask them to assign proper roles to your user.

Can you check in another browser also?

& did you see the answer provided by Aamir in above thread:is this not work for you?

Generally the way it works,is that you go to RWB->Alert configuration.

scroll in the bottom of the page and select the alert category (which was defined in ALRTCATDEF before) by clicking on the little blue square on the left.

This will make the Alert rule button enabled,define the alert rule there and save the

Hi,

check your user name is having enough authorizations.

i also faced the similar issue.
