SMP2.3 SP02 patch - SAP mobile server service not working

Hi,

Two weeks before i have upgraded the server SUP2.2 to SMP2.3. It was working fine for few days. Last Friday i applied the patch SMP 2.3 SP02 to the SMP2.3 server. It is a single server upgrade and i followed the infocenter doc for the upgrade process.

Now the SAP mobile service is not starting up. Please refer the screen shot attached.

did someone faced & found solution for this issue?

Hi all,

This issue is fixed now.

I have got the below error in bootstrap log,

2013-10-21 17:13:14.814 ERROR   MMS          Thread-10 [com.sybase.djc.log.SystemExceptionLog] [] [] com.sybase.djc.SystemException was thrown by method com.sybase.djc.server.ServiceComponent.startService()\ncom.sybase.djc.SystemException: Bad value '345600000' for property 'loginCacheTimeout' of component com.sybase.djc.security.SecurityDomain, instance default, expected number in range [0 .. 604800]

To fix this

C:\Sybase\UnwiredPlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\

Repository\Instance\com\sybase\djc\security\SecurityDomain\default.property

find the loginCacheTimeout in default property file, value should be 0 to 604800. In my case it was 345600000, so i have changed it to 604800 and restart all the services.

Now its working fine.

just give a try:

1. stop all smp related services (from desktop icon)

2. set all SMP related services as manual in services.msc

3. restart server/machine

4. make sure windows server services is up and running

5. start all SMP related services (from desktop icon)

Hi Yokesvaran,

As error says "ERROR!:Invalid license.". Could you please apply correct license on the server and restart it?

To apply valid license, place the license file into licenses folder and trigger below command from bin folder.

licence.bat <Lic_Ed.> <CPU> <Number_of_devices> e.g. license.bat EE CP 00

Finally it says Invalid license, Iam not using sysam server because its a single server and it was working fine before applying patch.
