Hi Sankar,

this field shows the type of link.

All possible values you can see in the table T778V.

Together with the field RSIGN - direction of relation build complete link.

Hi Konstantin,

As usual thanks for your immediate response..

Actually my question is..

we have many relationship with some description like below..

Relat'ship Rel.bottom up             Rel.top down
493        Belongs to                Incorporates
494        belongs to                includes
220        Belongs to                has
207        Is identical to           Is identical to
208        Is identical to           Is identical to
400        Is child of               Is parent of
401        Is assigned               Is assigned

when i use my Pur.org Object ID & use relation 207 i am getting some output but the same is not working when i use relation hip 208..so what is the difference between this?

similary for other relationship also..

what this text "belongs to,Is assigned to ,has,Include mean?

i tried using all the above relationship with  my pur.org id ,i am getting output only for 207..

why i am not getting for other?

is this relationships defined by SAP or customized?

can u pls tell me which releationship number will be used more in ur experience for what it will be used?

thanks,

San

Hi Sankar,

this functionality is used, when you try to build structures (make a search) as in PPOMA_BBP.

You need to call a function module (for exmaple) RH_STRUC_GET - where you enter an object from PPOMA_BBP and provide a search method (for example EBP_UP or US_BP.)

Lets say you want to search business partner to user. You enter user name and give a search method US_BP. If you check this method in the table T77AW - it will looks like.

It means - first the CP will be found. Relation 208, direction A (bottom-up) - means search criteria (user name) will be taken from field HRP1001 SOBID and a value from OBJID.

Then taken CP will be used to search HRP1001 again with relation 207, direction B (up bottom) - means search criteria (CP) will be taken from field HRP1001 OBJID and a value (business partner) from SOBID.

It corrensponds to SRM user model.

P.S. just for Info.

WEG from German is PATH.

WEGID - technical name of path

WEGNR - step number of the search path.

Hi Konstaintin.

I am getting confused..

So as per table T77W mainatanance for US_BP

if i have user name  by using releation ship 208 & 207

I can get that user CP number & BP number of that user?

When i use "Username/UNAME" in HRP1001 table with Relation ship-208..

will get CP Number of that user?in which field?

Thanks,

San

Hi San,

It means - first the CP will be found. Relation 208, direction A (bottom-up) - means search criteria (user name) will be taken from field HRP1001 SOBID and a value from OBJID.

SOBID = Username

Field UNAME shows only user, who made the changes... (like CHANGED_BY)

Konstantin

P.S. Don't forget reward points, if usefull.
