Enterprise structure- assignment of plant to shipping point

Hi,

In the assignment  of plant to shipping point,we get error message.

Message no:CZ093

Diagnosis:

Assignment were found that should not normally exists

On error analysis it shows plant is not assigned to sales organisation.

Apart from this any error will be there?

What would be the reason.

Please go to IMG - Enterprise Structure- Assignment-sales and distribution- assign sales organization-distribution Channel- Plant

Assign Plant in above step after that assign plant to shipping point. No error will come

As sales is not happening in this plant,only few purchase activities are happening,does it affect SAP process like result.If those assignments are not made,we cannot make any sales from particular plant,apart from that it wont have impact.

Dear Pradeep,

For any purchase activity no shipping point is required. Shipping point is required to maintain delivery document and that is maintained in SD. so withount assigning sales orgnization to Plant we can not assign shipping point to plant.

Hi,

It happened because of copying standard plant to newly created plant.

As the assignment of sales organisation ,distribution channel and plant is deleted.

But in the shipping point determination and picking location determination it was not deleted.Once on deleting that the error have been removed.
