Transfering material in CLM 9.0 from ECC 6

Hi Gurus,

Is it possible in CLM 9.0 to transfer a material with all it's attributes from ECC to CLM?

We want to implement CLM 9.0 and one of the requests from the client is that when they select a material on the line item level (when creating a Master Agreement), the selected material should bring along all the attributes from ECC i.e the UoM, Supplier Part number, Lead Times, Unit Prices, Material group in ECC which is your Product category in CLM, Plant, Minimum/maximum quantity, product hierarchies,Tolerance Groups, MRP types, valuation class, tax price.

Please advise.

For the SAP delivered product, material Information directly relevant for Integration (successfull creation of an Outline agreement in ECC) is extracted and imported to the CLM system. The additional fields that the customer wishes for can be done via Custom changes..

Extension fields on the CLM side, Enhancing the PI mappings.

Best way to approach this problem would be to start by checking what already exists on the Material master in Sourcing/CLM and then adding custom extensions to bring in the rest of the Material master fields..
