Dear Experts,.

I have a JDBC to PROXY Scenario . In the Target ECC there are 3 Clients , TEST CLIENT(600), CUSOMIZING(601) and GOLDEN(602).

  I have Some Confusions:

   1. In PI SLD while creating Technical and Business System which client i have to put ?

   2. In XI Receiver Adapter which client i have to put / In H type dest. which client ?

   3. In the Target Ecc on which client i have to generate proxy ?

   4. Do i need ACCESS KEY for generating Proxy through SPROXY ?

Regards,

Anirban

Hi Anirban,

please find the response of your queries below:

1. In PI SLD while creating Technical and Business System which client i have to put ?

     TEST CLIENT(600),

   2. In XI Receiver Adapter which client i have to put / In H type dest. which client ?

     same as above

   3. In the Target Ecc on which client i have to generate proxy ?

     Development client

   4. Do i need ACCESS KEY for generating Proxy through SPROXY ?

yes... that should be available to the ABAP developer.... authorization for activating proxy to be added.

Hope it answers your query.

Dear Ambrish,

In receiver XI Adapter I have to give User Name and Password.

My question is -- what authorization that UserID should have?

Do it need abap role ?

Hi Anirban,

It should be a normal system user for RFC connection to ECC. Ask your basis team and they would know what access to provide. Else I will send the list of roles.

cheers

Anirban,

Please check if you have activated the service sap/xi/engine in SICF on ECC side. This error is common and links are available on SCN.

Check one of the links http://scn.sap.com/thread/1932276

Hi Anirban,

Execute SICF. default host-sap/xi/engine should be there

Ask your basis team to fix the RFC destination (should be of type H).

Cheers,
