Hi All,
I have created a Customer Rebate and when I am creating the condition records it is asking for a settlement material.
My question is why do I need a settlement material?
What is the accounting for rebate settlement?
Can someone please answer these questions and help me
Hi Saurav,
When settlement is executed from Rebate agreement, it creates Credit Memo request or debit memo request. These sales documents cannot be created without a item. So to fulfill this, the settlement article will act as a dummy article for the same.
