Native Optional Filter in SAP BO 4.0 Universe

           Can any one throw some information on creating Native Optional Filter in BI 4.0 IDT.

Earlier I searched on Optional prompts in Universe. But i didn't get the Optional promts in IDT.

Okay Henri.

My question is , we have option to create native filter and also Business filter in Universe. But the Native filter created in universe is always behave as a mandatory filter in reports. I would like to create an native optional filter from universe, which should eventually act like an optional prompt at report level.

I'm not familiar with this terminology :  "native filter" vs "Business filter" 

can you put up a screenshot as to what you mean?
