MAP Button disabled in MDM Syndicator

Hi

To Create Syndication Map, MAP button is disabled for all the fields.

I have used CLFMAS ,MATMAS Idoc structure.

Also when tried to atleast create a flat file map , Created 2 custom items then even Map button is still disabled.

Shud there be any reason behind this behaviour?

Hello Shifali,

To get the map button to be enabled you have ywo options,

1) If you have saved the XML schema in Console and you have added few Custom fields in Syndicator, then the destination items appear Automatically in your Syndicator as you have saved your Schema in Console and you can map those Custom fields which you have created against the desire Destination fields.

2) If you have not svaed Schema in Console, then you have to create both Custom Items (if Required) and creation of Destination items is mandatory to map against your source.

Hi

I have already tried with 3 options before posting this .

• I have tried doing with an existing XSD in console
• Tried picking XSD file form the system
• Created 2 Destination items

Trying all the 3 options above, I am not able to get the MAP button enabled.Seems there is something which is not letting me.

I am able to do the same verywell in 7.1, but my issue is in 5.5

Hi Shifali,

Please check in the Console if your Role have enough authorizations to perform the necessary activity.

Hi Shifali,

You need to add destination items for your fields, in the Syndicator select the Destination Items pane, right click on the left and select 'add destination item' as showed below:
