Unable to install SAP GUI 710

Hi,

I am trying to install SAP GUI 710 on my system which has Windows Vista as the OS. I have downloaded 3 zip files from the SAP Market place. They are

50083078_2.zip

50083078_4.zip

50083078_5.zip.

None of these zip files contain the .exe file which will help me in installing the SAP GUI.

Let me know if there is any other link to download the GUI files.

I do have SAP GUI 470 on my system now.

Hi Dieter,

You are right that there are .exe files in that folder. But when I try to execute them, it says that the exe file NWSAPSETUP.exe is not present in its respective folder. And after that the execution stops.

I doubt that there is something else which i need to do, can you please forward me or let me know the steps involved in implimenting the SAP GUI 710.

Hi Shankar,

After your message i tried to download the gui again and tried to install it. Actually the 50083078_4 was only used.

First I uninstalled the earlier 640 istallation manually and emptied the C:\Progarms\SAP folder.

Then I ran the following exe

50083078_4\NW_2004s_Presentation\PRES1\GUI\WINDOWS\WIN32\setup\NwSapSetup

It asked me to installMicrosoft.net framework 2.0 .

Then i reboot and statred the installation.

It worked fine.

Pl download the 50083078_4 again and instal.

Hope it works.

Hi Manas,

i use ... NW_2004s_Presentation\PRES1\GUI\WINDOWS\WIN32\SetupALL.exe

and it works OK.

If you want only GUI without BI use ...\SapGuiSetup.exe

i download it too, and i find .exe Files in:

D:\..\NW_2004s_Presentation\PRES1\GUI\WINDOWS\WIN32

Hi,

I dont know why it didnt work.

Still try the following:

service.sap.com------>downloads , on the left hand side panel click download

click on Installation and Upgrades--->search for Installations and upgrades->in the search string enter SAP GUI and search.

Click SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.10 CORE

Click on the Installation tab on the info screen.

Download the three zip files.

Hope this works.
