Hi,

I'm getting this error while running the IMPORT process using SWPM for HPUX.

In my installables I have /COMMON/INSTALL/700/STARTSAP

But sapinst is looking for 721 folder. Any idea? I'm trying to do system copy of ERP 6.0 EhP 4 = NW 7.0 EhP1.

Export has completed & now running the Import. but getting this error

Best Regards,

Avinash

Just create a symbolic link from 720 to 700 and retry in sapinst

ln -s /COMMON/INSTALL/700 /COMMON/INSTALL/720

Yes, it`s correct.

Just make symbolic link in your SWPM folder.

/bin/pwd

.../SWPM/COMMON/INSTALL

ln -s 700/ 721

D.

Hi Avtinash,

This seems to be permission problem, change to 777 and start again or retry.

Hi Prahakar,

721 directory does not exist in my installable folder of SWPM. So not sure where you are directing me to change the permissions.

I remember having a similar issue in the past once ... the workaround  I found was to create a 721 directory and copy the contents of 700 on it...  I think this is a SWPM issue.

Let me know if it works

Hi,

Please follow as Juan Says or get kernel 721 and uncar in the 721 directory. All the 721_ext kernel are download ward compatible with 700 kernel.

I think that you are using the latest SWPM so its looking for the kernel version compatible as per the xml script.

thanks
