Howdy,

Could someone tell me what in carnation a weblog is?

I've had a look and I've got no idea what its about lots of small articles about lots of things?

Is it a place where developers write about anything they like - SAP, Linux, the weather?

Alos who has written the most of these weblogs?

Thanking you kindly.

That you would have to clarify with the good people at SDN. You can however start a private and talk about all of that.

http://www.livejournal.com for example.

I do know that many people here frown upon negative "bashing SAP" weblogs. Our view tends to be state the problem and then the solution you found

Hi Steve,

you basically hit it on the head. "small articles about lots of things"

Weblog is basically a wbe based form of a daily journal which has developed from daily thoughts and ramblings to actual article style writing.

Here on SDN we use them to share tips, tricks and example for coding, etc.

Not sure on SDN who's writen the most, I know Thomas Jung has over 50 and I do as well and I'm pretty sure Mark Finnern has more than we do.

There are several online hosted tools for webloging as well as ones you can download and install yourself on your webserver to use.

You might check out these links, I googled "weblog what is"
