tp.exe binary crashes on Windows 2012

I have an instance running on Windows Server 2012 with 721_EXT_REL patch 100 kernel.  When executing any function in STMS that calls on the binary, I'm only able to one function.  If I try to run something else that calls the binary, I get an RFC failure.  I have monitored the tp.exe process in task manager and I will see the process start, then crash.  The only "fix" I've found is restarting the instance, but then it only works once, then begins crashing again.  Has anyone had this issue before?

Hi Jayson,

Please cperform tp connect test and provide result of it.

tp CONNECT <SAPSID> [options ...]

Checks the possibility of connecting to the database of system <SAPSID>.
Additionlly calls R3trans to connect to the database of system <SAPSID>.
In case of a call via RFC tp's and R3trans' source time stamp is returned.

  Options:
pf=<TPPARAM>          specify a transport parameter file
silent                redirect stdout to dev_tp in current directory
-D"<entry>"           specify a parameter for tp
-t<k>                 specify a trace level for tp
tf=<filename>         specify the name of a trace file for tp
shdwtadir=<tabname>   specify the name of a shadow TADIR

Hello

Check the trace files in the work directory.

Check the dev_tp trace file.

What is the present version of tp tool ? - run tp -V

Try updating the TP and Rt3trans files.
