IDES DDIC and SAP* users are locked

I was trying to log on for the first time using DDIC username under client 001, but first it was giving me the error "name or password is incorrect". After trying 2-3 times, now it is saying that "Password logon is not possible, too many failed attempts", What should I do now??

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

Here is procedure to activate sap* user in ABAP system.

In SAP, there is a parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar whose default value is 1. If the value is set to 1, automatic login of sap* into SAP system using password PASS won’t be allowed.

In all of the above scenarios,

Pls set the value of parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0 in both the default profile and the instance profile and restart the instance. So automatic login of sap* with default password will be enabled

Hi Neha,

If you can log in to the system and having su01 authorization then reset sap* password and unlock it.

If no users are available to login then login to Database level and then access the table USR02  and delete the entry of SAP*  of specific Client and The default password for sap* is pass can be used now.

Still you are unable to login in to the client. Go to the relevent client profile file then  login/no_automatic_user_sapstar parametr is set to value "0". Restart the SAP system. Then try using password "pass"

After login through sap* unlock or reset other users like DDIC...

Hi Neha,

You can try using SAP* or DDIC in client 000 and SAP* in client 001 using the master password which you have given during installation. Also try using username as IDADMIN and password as ides.

what password did you used for first time login and your SAP IDES release version.

Please check this.

The data of the IDES model company can be found in client 800. The

clients 810,811,812 are very small and contain examples for ALE

scenarios.

In the clients 000/001 you can logon with DDIC and SAP* with the

password you have defined at the beginning of the installation as

'Master-Password', in the clients 8xx with the password 19920706 /

06071992 and in all clients with IDADMIN / ides

The system already contains more than 20 languages.(Please see attached document (IDES_ERP_606_languages.pdf) for details.) Set the system profile parameter zcsa/installed_languages accordingly to use them

Note 1761605 - IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP6
